Good Men NEED To Have A Capacity For EVIL and Here’s Why…

Good morning, friends! It’s Alexander again, and today we’re diving into a powerful topic that many Christians completely misunderstand: the need to sometimes embrace the “monster” within you. It may seem like a contradiction at first, but stay with me — this could change how you view your strength and faith.

The Need for Strength in a World of Sin

As Christians, we often focus on grace, humility, and following Jesus’ example of kindness. While these are undeniably important, we cannot ignore the reality of the world we live in. Earth is not a neutral place; it is the domain of Satan, the “Prince of this world.” Sin is prevalent, and sometimes, we are confronted by evil, even in the form of people who seek to harm us or lead us astray.

This is where the concept of being a “monster” comes in. Many of us hear the words “meek” and “humble” in the Bible and think we must just take whatever comes our way without resistance. But this is not what God intends for us.

Understanding the “Meek” in the Bible

The Bible says, “the meek shall inherit the earth,” but what does that really mean? Meekness doesn’t mean you let others walk all over you, nor does it imply that you should never stand up for yourself. The word “meek” is often misunderstood. In this context, it can be better translated as someone who has the power to fight, but chooses not to use it unless necessary. It’s about strength controlled by wisdom.

In martial arts, for example, you learn to fight, but you also learn to avoid conflict unless absolutely necessary. The same principle applies here. God doesn’t want us to be helpless or passive in the face of injustice; He wants us to be capable of defending ourselves and others, yet choosing to do so only when required.

The Strength Women Seek: A Reflection of the Monster Within

You might wonder, why does this matter in the Christian walk? Well, it’s not just about attracting women (though this is a factor). Women, for instance, are often drawn to men who have an inner strength — a “bad boy” persona, if you will. It’s not about being abusive or cruel, but rather about having the capacity for strength and protection. They want someone who can stand up for them, someone with the ability to fight if necessary.

In a broader sense, the same applies to our relationship with God. To follow Christ’s path, you need to be strong, both mentally and spiritually. Jesus’ teachings aren’t always easy to follow, and if you don’t have the strength and courage to take on His mission, you will struggle.

God Needs You to Be Strong

To follow God’s calling, we need courage and self-respect. It’s not easy to walk the narrow path that leads to salvation. Jesus’ teachings ask us to bear our crosses — taking responsibility, rejecting earthly pleasures, and choosing self-discipline. It’s a hard road, and you can’t walk it if you aren’t prepared to confront evil, temptation, and suffering head-on.

This is where cultivating the “monster” within becomes essential. You must have the strength to deny your impulses, to stand firm in your beliefs, and to fight back against sin, both in the world and within yourself.

The Importance of Fighting for Your Faith

If you don’t cultivate that controlled power — what I’m calling the “monster” within you — you risk allowing others to walk all over you, and by extension, dishonor God. You are meant to speak the truth, defend the gospel, and stand up for God’s teachings. You’re not meant to be passive when society attacks the faith or when others try to lead you astray.

Think about it: If you don’t have the ability to fight for what is right, then you are, by default, allowing evil to prevail. You must cultivate the strength to stand firm and fight for the truth.

Facing the Reality of Our Capacity for Evil

This is a tough realization, but we must acknowledge that every one of us has the capacity for evil. Look at history, and you’ll see countless examples of human cruelty, from the atrocities of Nazi Germany to the actions of oppressive regimes throughout time. The disturbing truth is that any one of us could have fallen into those roles if not for God’s guidance and the strength He gives us to resist sin.

This is not to say we should embrace our dark side, but rather understand that it exists within us. If we fail to cultivate the strength to control it, we might be overwhelmed by it when the time comes. This is why it’s so crucial to develop that inner monster — the strength to fight when necessary.

The Call to Stand Up for God

In your life, you must stand up for your faith, for your family, and for the truth of God’s word. You can’t be passive about it. You must be courageous, strong, and willing to fight for what’s right. Sometimes, this means confronting sin directly, speaking out when others are leading you astray, and refusing to let evil dominate.

Remember, the Bible tells us to “put on the armor of God” — but that’s not enough. You must also wield the sword. This is where the true strength lies: in being able to fight when called upon, but also knowing when to hold back.

Conclusion: Cultivating the Controlled Monster Within

To follow God’s path, you need to be strong — strong enough to confront the evil in the world, strong enough to fight for what is right, and strong enough to stand firm in your faith. God doesn’t want you to be weak or passive. He wants you to be a warrior for His kingdom, one who chooses peace but is ready for battle when necessary.

By embracing the monster within, you become more than just a passive follower — you become a fighter for God’s truth. This is the kind of strength He calls us to cultivate. So, build your strength, both spiritually and physically. Only then will you be ready to stand up against the forces that seek to tear you down and fight for your faith with the power that God has placed within you.
